Stephen Sorenson 

Founder & CEO

With 18 years of experience in POS sales, including team building, recruiting, speaking, and developing people, Stephen brings enthusiasm and zest to the Equip team. Stephen leads Equip with a heart for excellence, integrity, and for sharing the love of Jesus in the workplace. 

Stephen is a rabid Ohio State fan, and may quote one of his favorite movies within 5 minutes of meeting you. 

Sarah Sorenson 

Co-Founder & Director of Operations

Sarah draws on her background in real estate sales, marketing, and non-profit leadership to run a tight operations ship at Equip. Sarah also enjoyes pouring into the culture aspect of the company, heading up team retreats and gatherings, regional team events, scheduling motivational speakers for team calls, and making sure reps and their families feel loved.  

Sarah is also a Christian recording artist, and enjoys helping others on social media with their mental health struggles. 

Nick Morrow 

Director of Sales

After ten years in ministry, Nick joined Equip Payment Solutions as a sales rep and quickly made an impact by successfully training teams across the U.S. He now serves as the Director of Sales, overseeing the recruiting, hiring, and training of new representatives. Nick is passionate about family, music, leadership, and integrating the ethics of Jesus into the business world. Whether working with merchants, reps, trainers, or leadership, he’s driven by helping people succeed and fostering strong, collaborative teams. Nick lives in Spring Hill, TN with his wife, Annie, their five children, and a lively golden doodle.

Ingrid Arban

Pipeline Manager

Ingrid originally joined Equip as the Executive Assistant to CEO and COO, Sarah and Stephen Sorensen. Over time, she transitioned into the role of Pipeline Manager, where she now oversees the coordination of all orders from Sales Representatives to Equip’s vendor, Shift4.

In this role, she manages the full lifecycle of merchant onboarding and installation, working closely with the Pre-Launch Team to ensure a smooth, efficient process from start to finish. Her commitment to accuracy, timeliness, and exceptional care helps ensure every order is processed without delays and with excellence.

Fun fact: She loves to travel and has set a personal goal to visit at least one new place each year—whether it's across the globe or just around the corner.

Mary Malundas

Payroll & Deals Manager

Mary Shayne, known simply as Mary to most, serves as the Payroll and Deals Manager at Equip Payment Solutions. With a background in accounting, administrative, and legal support, she plays a vital role in keeping operations organized and efficient behind the scenes. From managing payroll to coordinating deals, Mary brings a sharp eye for detail and a deep commitment to keeping the team on track.

She thrives on structure, enjoys creating order, and is always eager to learn something new to better support the mission.

Fun fact: Mary never goes a day without a to-do list — it’s her go-to tool for staying grounded, focused, and productive.

Ryan Raymundo

Product Expert & Sales Manager

With over 18 years of experience in the BPO industry, Ryan has built a career rooted in leadership, strategy, and performance excellence. For more than 16 of those years, he has worked closely with clients and executives, holding key leadership and management roles across Recruitment, Sales, and Operations.

He has successfully overseen day-to-day processes and team performance, consistently driving results through streamlined operations and data-driven decision-making. Known for developing impactful training and learning programs, he has played a major role in boosting employee performance and site efficiency through thoughtful project planning and execution.

Hyah Takiang

Rep Relationship & Company Administrator

Hyah brings a creative and organized touch to everything she does at Equip with a background in executive support, graphic design, website management, and team operations. She leads the charge on rep onboarding and relationships, keeping the team connected and supported from day one. Whether she’s managing day-to-day administrative tasks, updating the company website, or running Equip’s social media presence, she keeps the wheels turning and the brand shining.

Outside of work, she loves to explore new places with a special joy for wandering through beautiful churches and soaking in their history and peace.
